Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems (minimum one year experience)
  • Understand basic pipe sizing and irrigation design
  • Attention to detail with an eye for safety hazards
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have legal authorization to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with backflow testing and spring turn-on / winterization
  • Familiarity with SmartLink or LMN software

Job Description

The Irrigation Foreman Driver is responsible for effectively diagnosing irrigation systems for issues and making the appropriate repairs, testing back flows, and installing new irrigation systems. Key responsibilities associated with this position include:

  • Inspect, audit and adjust systems to ensure they perform at maximum efficiency
  • Program irrigation controllers both in the field and remotely
  • Renovate, troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems
  • Stock service vehicle with proper parts and tools in an organized manner
  • Perform spring turn-ons and winterizations
  • Replace spray heads, rotors, valves, quick couplers, and controllers
  • Repair lateral lines and 2″ / 4″ main lines
  • Troubleshoot conventional wire and two-wire systems
  • Replace and program decoders, solenoids, and node controllers
  • Proper use of multimeter, Station Master, and valve locator
  • Create and manage inspections and job sites in SmartLink
  • Maintain organized trucks, follow PPE and safety standards, and report property issues promptly
